Junior Golf Hub to Sponsor 2018 New England Junior Invitational
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 30, 2018
NORTON, Massachusetts – The New England Golf Association (NEGA) is happy to announce that it has established a new partnership with Junior Golf Hub, a premier online community for junior golfers, parents, and college coaches.
As part of the partnership, Junior Golf Hub will be an official sponsor of the New England Junior Amateur Invitational, one of the NEGA’s three premier championship events that dates back to 1967. The annual event features teams of top junior amateur golfers from the six New England states who compete for a team and individual title. This year’s New England Junior Amateur Invitational will be held on August 12-14 at Longmeadow Country Club in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
“We could not be more excited to align our two organizations,” said Laura Nochta, who serves as Mass Golf’s Manager of NEGA Operations & USGA Qualifying. “Our new partnership with Junior Golf Hub not only helps to support this historic championship, but it also gives the competitors a superior resource to help them reach their goal of playing collegiate golf.”
To Nochta’s point, Junior Golf Hub was founded to help players and parents navigate the journey to college golf while helping coaches find top talent.
The partnership will give New England Junior Amateur Invitational players and parents access to valuable resources and information through a series of breakout sessions and pre-event dinners.
Junior Golf Hub’s Founder, Roger Knick, is excited about the potential for the new partnership. “We are honored to partner with the New England Golf Association. Junior Golf Hub looks forward to introducing our service and helping juniors and their parents in New England on the journey to college golf,” said Knick.
